So just like relationship means having relations... worthship means having worth.

Worship starts with a recognition of the VALUE of God. That is a big statement. Which leads me to my last thought for today...

The words most translated to Worship in the Old and New testaments come from words that show a physical reaction to the knowledge of that worth. Specifically, they mean to "Bow Down or Prostrate".

A simple start to the understanding of worship is "Our response to the value we perceive about God." That can be an every moment, every where type of thing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1167409273327436397.post-44796170814300309172008-01-03T09:34:00.000-06:002008-01-03T09:34:00.000-06:00Thanks Matt. I was 15, and traveling with my brother from Denver to Portland, Ore. The flight got in late at night, and as we rode a bus to our hotel, I remember feeling some anxiety about traveling so far for the first time without my parents. As we came around a bend on the highway, I saw one of those lit-up crosses on a hillside, as you'll often see in cities around the country. It instantly reminded me that no matter where I go, God goes there as well, and I can worship him the same.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
